St. George Location!

The plates are now available at Sage Home & Garden - a local gallery located at 1234 W Sunset Blvd #10 right next to Anasazi Steak House. I have 16 designs currently in the store and I am excited to have my first Utah location! Go check them out!!

Also I will be exhibiting at Tuacahn next month at their Saturday Market! Hours are from 9 am to 1 pm and I will be there on April 10, April 17th, May 1, May 8 and May 15th! Ready, Set, Go! Welcome Spring 2010

After quite a hectic year of having my husband relocate to Afghanistan for work and my son and I moving out west to live with family I am finally back to creating gorgeous plates! I enjoy creating and making these plates and I am happy to make custom plates for weddings, high school or college graduations, engagement parties, etc. I'm posting some of the new plates below as well as some of the classics! Last week I returned from working back in Winchester, VA in creating two large orders for the upcoming Apple Blossom Festival in Winchester. You can find NEW designs at Simply Charming and the traditional beautiful plates of both apples and cherry's in the Apple Blossom Souvenir store. Both stores will also be featuring small square glass votive with different decor on them along with a candle. Prices remain the same as last year so check them out early while you can! The Apple Blossom Store will be at the same location as last year on Valley Ave.

Locations Update

This week I had to figure out a labeling system for the plates that included washing instructions. This picture is a little blurry but you get the idea. There is room for the price on the left and I have made them with all different color backgrounds. Essentially whatever I had on hand!

Tomorrow I meet with The George Washington Hotel to see if I have them buy them for their guests at least during the Apple Blossom Festival - perhaps even longer. I am also working on additional hotels and local bed and breakfast hotels.

Creating, selling, producing, labeling, packaging, invoicing, accounting .... these are all things that I have been able to do in my past and thankful for experience to help get our little business up and rolling.

Here We Go!

These past three weeks have been very exciting for Plate It Up! I have been diligently getting out in to our community to show the 30 different samples that I have created. The challenge is to keep production up with sales! As of today, the plates are in the following stores:
